Diabetes not linked to Alzheimer's in seniors (Reuters) -

For older people with diabetes,the condition does not increase the likelihood that they'lldevelop Alzheimer's disease, according to a report in themedical journal Neurology. However, diabetes is associated withareas of brain damage called cerebral infarction which canimpair mental capacity.
