The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

Researchers ID Inflammation-Fighting Pathway in Fat Cells (HealthDay) - 04-06-2008, 08:50 AM

HealthDay - WEDNESDAY, June 4 (HealthDay News) -- A new molecular signalingpathway in fat cells that suppresses harmful inflammation has beenidentified by Harvard School of Public Health researchers. The pathwayprevents the fat cells -- called adipocytes -- from over-reacting toinflammation-causing stimulants such as fatty acids in the diet.
