HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

hello ,me from nepal ,is a medical student of wuhan university in china ,studing in 3 year mbbs.i have to ask you senior DOCTORS in USA whether a nepali guy can do mbbs over there in USA or not? because my younger brotther got the DV LOTTERY and my parents are willing to send him if it is possible over there . but he is a good student ,i hope he will get the chance to do MBBS in nepal in near future but for MASTER should he again have to appear USMLE after MBBS from nepal or other palces or can directly get the job there?i am very worry about my younger brother s future. hoping to get more and real suggestions from you senior doctors for my brother.thank you

everyone has to take the usmle steps, be him a graduate from US or from nepal............ studying medicine here in US wud be too costly though u get educational loans
