USMLE: Request for all concer doctors and medical stuent

Dear all,

As you know USMLE center has been closed since Nov 6, 2005 for indefinite time for Nepal. It may or even never may reopen. There is no authentic news regarding this issue may be it will be announced officially soon.

The reason for this closure has not been disclosed.

Those who had taken exam date after above mention date will not be able to give exam in Nepal's center, they will have to arrange outside Nepal. Currently available nearest option are Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Well, as it is known that USMLE is related to NBME and ECFMG.

All of those who are preparing for USMLE would like to have the center in Nepal. So lets send a mail to NBME and ECMG requestin for the reopening of the center in Nepal.

If not then we ought to request them to provide us the nearest exam center i.e. in India, as you know that we are not allowed to take exam in India at present.

If you think we are doing good for the future doctor who are medical student to re-set up the USMLE center in Nepal, please request through this thread.

Our primary request would be to re-set up the exam center in Nepal or to allow us for USMEL exam to the nearest possible center i.e. India.

Lets hope NBME & ECFMG will definately look into this matter in a positive way.

As far as the reason behind the closure of the center, we don't see any fradulence here. So, we request you to consider our proposal favourably and please consider the future of so many students before making any decisions.
