Question Is having a tattoo is a problem who wants to give USMLE? - 22-08-2007, 10:23 AM

I had made a tattoo on my arm 5yrs back but now im thinking of giving USMLE and some frenz say ones who have tattoo arent allowed to give the exams??
anyone who have given USMLE,if u know anything on this matter please advice im willing to remove it...

Nope its all bakwas... who will see your tattoo by the way where is it ???

I haven't heard of anything related to this... so don't worry its nothing to do with your usmle

its on my arm...as some of my frens said that ones who have tattoos arent eligible to give exams...so have u given usmle?if not best of luck to u too

Does not make sense why they should not allow you to take the exam. That will amount to prejudice and you may be able to even take a legal battle.

whether a pair of jeans, a shirt, or a pair of shoes—that u love so much..would u commit to wear it for the rest of ur life? Of course not! Styles, cuts, and colors change. Unlike a piece of clothing, however, tattoos are hard to shed. Besides, what is "cool" to you when u are 16 might not be very appealing when u are 30.
n top of that "It's more painful to have a tattoo removed" i guess
if u wanna remove it do it when u r fourty!!

yes.. doctors are earning milliions of money and has become a big business for removing tatto...
