testing center is working in Nepal - 19-07-2006, 08:51 PM

drche

Go with Asia it covers Kathmandu and other asian countries but not India. India belongs to separate testing region. So if you want to give exam from Ktm, select Asia (which also includes Bangladesh, Pakistan, Hong Kong Malayasia, Sinagapore) and if you are giving your from India select India. You will have to go through this procedure once you get the ECFMG ID if you haven't got ECFMG ID yet go through the following procedures:
  • Go to ECFMG.ORG
  • then IWA | Apply on-line if you don't have the ECFMG ID or not applied before then
  • go to If you are a first-time user of ECFMG On-line Services, click here to establish an account.
  • then after going to the next page click on the " No, I have never submitted an application to ECFMG for any examination. " and click Next
and submit your detail they will send you ECFMG ID and then apply for step 1
and follow the instruction where your detail will have to submit pay the amount at the last through Visa or master card.

When you pay the amount after getting ECFMG ID and a form will display you will have to stick your photo and send to ECFMG after getting sign from your principal or Govt. Official. But you will have to send all your medical college credential like your transcript, character certificate and relevent document what ever has been asked to send you in the form just follow the instruction in every page that will help you.

Then when you submit and your application is accepted they will send you Arrange Card popularly known as orange card as it is in orange color which contains shceduling permit no. then go to Prometric and go to schedule a test

Now whatever your talking about will appear hear in the option "Step 1: Select your testing program" chose "Step-1 United States Medical Licensing Exam"

wait until page refresh itself and

then in the "Step 2: Select your region" select Nepal.

and follow the instruction and schedule your exam date

Best of luck buddy
