Tips for getting visa - 09-06-2006, 03:36 AM

Tips for getting visa

1. Get all your documents ready. No one knows what exactly document the counsula wants, but important things are the visa letter, score report, bank balance and other supporting document.
2. Arrive to the consular section at least half an hour before the appointment as it is first come first service.
3. The most important thing is you should be confident and know about the things you have written in the forum the is submitted to the Nabil Bank. eg the place you are going, about the person you are going to stay at US, who is sponsoring you and some thing about why you became a doctor and which field in medicne you are intrested in.
Again the important thing is be confident and in 2-3 minutes its over.

All the best to all.

Tips for getting visa at the port in usa

1. Dont give your passport first, show your documents (nrmp schedule) and explain them why you are here.
2. Be polite and be confident and listen what they tell. most of them tell that they will give only 3 month visa in our b1/b2 visa.
3. Explain them that i have to take cs and then go for the inteview call through out usa. and want to stay till mathch dat (march 15)
4. once u convince them they will give 6 months to 1 year visa.

once again be polite and confidenc, and dont give your passport first, first explain why your are here and then later give the passport for stamping

all the best to everyone

I think being confident is very important but giving documents first before the passport may not be the good idea. Just show your passport and be confident. I was given the 6 months stay permission even when I told them I would return after 15 days. I had been there just for a conference trip.

He didn't mean that its a interview process those who give passport before explaining why they want to go usually they give you visa for short period, if you could convince them you could get visa for multiple entries.

And to be confident we have to be in the every walk of our lives.
