I've been receiving emails from quite a few people who seem to have visas to stay and work in the UK but have medical degrees from abroad, mainly China. I thought I would start this thread in the view of hopefully answering a few queries that were put forward to me.
The foundation programme consists of 2 years where by the GMC has set certain goals that we must achieve during these 2 years. I guess it is at par with the internship as F1 is a pre-registration job. It is important to do the foundation programme before applying for any speciality posts.
The best site to visit for any queries that you may have would be : The Foundation Programme - Non-UK graduates, and those who graduated before 31 July 2006
There are various pdf files on this page which include the eligibility criterias, processes to be undertaken. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
