Post-doctoral position available
A postdoctoral position is available for biochemists and biophysicists to study the molecular basis of signalling processes involving adaptor proteins. The project involves a combination of biochemical/biophysical approaches to characterise the regulation of adaptor proteins and their interactions with various binding partners. These methods include for example fluorescence spectroscopy, calorimetry and structure determination or imaging techniques according to the applicant's background. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out experiments and data analysis in a relatively independent manner. You should be highly motivated and have a strong background in protein biochemistry and/or biophysics with experience in basic molecular biology techniques.
Our department provides state of the art equipment for the study of protein-protein interaction in an inspiring, international, multi-disciplinary environment.
The position (BAT IIa) is available for up to three years. Interested candidates should send a letter describing their research interest and experience, a copy of their curriculum vitae and contact information for three references to the contact listed below.
