ELIGIBILITY
For Nepali Candidates:

1. Candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for PG

Entrance Examination for admission to MD/MS in Basic Clinical Sciences.

• less than 45 years of age on the last date of submission of application;
• with MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by BPKIHS, and who have
• completed one year of internship; and
• registered with Nepal Medical Council (NMC).

or

• Candidates meeting criteria mentioned at a. & c. above and with BDS degree whohave completed and passed the Bridge Course conducted by the B.P. Koirala Instituteof Health Sciences are eligible to apply for PG Entrance Examination for admission toMD/MS in Human Anatomy, Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology,Microbiology & Infectious Disease, Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics andHuman Physiology.

1. Candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply for PG Entrance

Examination for admission to MD/MS in Clinical Sciences.

• less than 45 years of age on the last date of submission of application;
• with MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by BPKIHS, and who have
• completed one year of internship;
• registered with the Nepal Medical Council (NMC); and
• with one year of work experience in institutions recognized by BPKIHS aftertemporary/ permanent registration with the NMC (proof is required) on the day ofapplication.

For Foreign Candidates:
Candidates of less than 45 years of age on the last date of submission of application with MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by BPKIHS and who have completed one year of internship and are registered with Medical Council in their own countries are eligible to apply for MD/MS courses in Basic Clinical and Clinical Sciences.
Note: Foreign Candidates, after selection for admission, must register with Nepal Medical Council.

DATE OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION:
Entrance Examination will be held at 9:30 am on 15th (Sunday) June 2008 at B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal (venue will be indicated in the Admit Card).
