| | Meditation Centre at Manipal Hospital POKHARA, Sept. 2: A Rajyog Dhyan (meditation )Center has been initiated in Manipal Hospital Pokhara with an objective of providing better health care to the mental patients from the Rajyog besides modern treatment.
Some 55 mental patients come to the hospital each day.
Such patients can benefit from the Rajyog medidation and exercises to make them mentally strong and physically healthy.
The meditation classes will be run for them free of charge.
The centre has been run by the Bhramhakumari Ishworiya Biswo Bidhyalaya and was inaugurated by Manipal Hospital Dean Dr. SK Dham, who said that mind should be free of worries to be physically healthy.
West Nepal Chief of the Biswo Bidhyalaya Bramhakumari Parinita said healthy food and positive thinking makes people free of tensions and far from diseases.
Bramhakumar Shailesh said such centre was opened for the first time in Nepal to help the mental patients of the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Oshodhara Sangh Nepal also organised a two- day Ananda Pragya Satsang Camp for the inmates of Pokhara Jail.
Acharya duo Swami Atmatirtha Bharati and Swami Dhruba gave lectures and held Pranayam exercises in the camp participated in by 40 persons.
