| | CTEVT Students Announce Protest Plans, Again The Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) joint student struggle committee on Saturday announced a series of protest programmes to press the government to implement the agreement between the struggle committee and the latter to make necessary provision of further education in the subjects concerned.
As a part of protest programmes, the CTEVT joint struggle committee announced to lock out the administration of the CTEVT affiliated colleges and organise sit-in programme in front of the Education Ministry on August 13, organise a press conference on August 14, organise a silent rally wearing black bands on August 15, organise a protest rally at Khula Manch on August 17 and public meeting on August 18.
The various student bodies affiliated to different political parties today expressed solidarity with the CTEVT students' protest programmes, according to a press release issued here today by CTEVT joint student struggle committee.
The leaders of the students union expressed commitment to raise the issue and to press the government to implement the report submitted by the education council. The CTEVT joint struggle committee held an interaction with the students union. |  Article Tools | | |
