New curriculum for MBBS, BDS

With a view to making scholarships for MBBS and BDS courses effective, the government has revised curriculum and guidelines for the programmes.
Addressing a press meet, joint-secretary at the Ministry of Education and Sports, Dan Bahadur Adhikari, said, “Of the total applicants for the scholarship seats, 40 per cent of the seats were reserved for women, Janajatis, Dalits, disadvantaged groups, students of remote areas, disabled and those injured during Jana Andolan-II.”

The ministry will hold entrance examination on May 10 for the scholarship.
Adhikari said the curriculum has been revised for three subjects; physics, chemistry and biology. Earlier, only English was included in the curriculum. - Source

Re: New curriculum for MBBS, BDS

it has been great to know that goverment helping those disadvantage group and others. but i think 40% reservation is quite more than required. And these seat aren't effectively reached to those people whom government is targeting. And thos student who are capable but don't fall in these group would not get chance to utilized scholarship. So Government should have clear vision in this aspect.
