Dear members,
In an attempt to have secure and user friendly interactive web forum, I have collaborated with xenoMED (an online Nepalese Medical Community).
I would be moderating the forum as before and I am confident that our members will continue to share their views, opinion on current matters and anything that is relevant to the NDA(UK) and members in general responsibly.
However, you may continue to use our forum on Yahoo group and post your views but the aim is to close it down eventually.
At this juncture, I would like to introduce you to xenoMED.
xenoMED is an online Medical Community where academically sound, professionally conscious and socially responsible Medical Students, Doctors & Health Professionals interact with each other.
xenoMED provides a virtual place for all the Nepalese Medical Students, Doctors, Physician, Health Professionals and organizations to share their experience, knowledge and information with each other. Beside this, it also provides latest Medical Breakthrough, Nepalese Health News, New Researches & their finding in the Field of Medicine as it happens around the world.
This site is accessed worldwide and is managed and led by Dr Angel Magar, a new graduate from Kathmandu University Medical College. xenoMED is very popular especially among Nepalese doctors worldwide and this is an important step in raising our profile in international community. You can visit the site and can contribute yourself professionally and academically.
Regards,
Anil Tuladhar

We should thank Anne Shrestha, a medical student from Sheffield University and daughter of Mr Badri Man Shrestha, Consultant Transplant Surgeon in Sheffield who helped us to make this possible. Anil Tuladhar MRCP(UK), FRCPCH

Dear All,
It's good to see that we can all work alongside each other to create a much more informative environment. The merging of the NDA forum with the Xenomed forum means that people like myself who reside in the UK but don't necessarily visit the NDA site can be kept abreast with both the events that is happening in the UK as well as the ones in Nepal. I'm glad to see that bridging the gap will be of benefit to everyone.
I hope everyone will enjoy this forum.

Dear demon,
I am bit surprised that though being in the UK and also being in the medical fraternity, you commented that you don't necessarily visit NDA website when you have been copying and pasting the news on immigration to xenoMED earlier.
I think people like you should be disseminating the message about the website and be constructive about how we can take the site forward so that it is useful to all senior and junior members. Anil Tuladhar MRCP(UK), FRCPCH

Dear Anil
Glad to see this new format. It does look secured well presented. Only concern I have is that it is little bit less user friendly particulary for semi IT literate like myself. Some of our senior members may find it difficult to access the forum.
Any way lets keep going.

Dear all,
There has been number of requests from medical students from Nepal to join NDA forum. I would like to kindly inform you that this is a private forum for the medical professionals based in the UK. Hence, please do not be disappointed if you are denied to join the forum. If, however, you have any burning question to ask about us and the health system and training in the UK, you can access NDA (UK) website or email any of the executive members (their emails are on the website).
Many thanks. Anil Tuladhar MRCP(UK), FRCPCH
