no we are not doing enough .What we need to do first is change the view of the society towards the handicapped. They are not the burden to our society
.They must be first socially accepted ,then comes the things that we can do to maintain their life.

dear bishow, you may be right to some extent but how would you like to look at it this way-
1. Its better to have something than nothing,
2. by the way we can not directly say that nothing has been done for the handicapped, many things have been done but its true that they are not sufficient.
3. and this day atleast reminds all of us about the handicapped ones, otherwise we would not have ever bothered to think about them , neither would have made a discussion here about them.

so, i say this world handicapped day is good and important, the only thing is we shud realise what this day has tried to trigger us and make everyday a world handicapped day.

dear anuj,
its not necessary that we shud follow whatever our seniors did. you can do sth diffferent, its true that to do sth different you need guts but lets come infront and do sth new, believe me, many others will follow you and i'll be the first one to praise your bold step and who knows to follow u as well.
