I have some questions:
1. For how long you (Dr. Angel & Mati) have been involved as a reviewer?
2. How did you get into it?
3. Can I be the BMJ reviewer one day? if yes, How can I get into it?

Ans:
Dr Angel is doig for the last 3/4 years and I am doing it for the last one year.
There was call for reviewes and Dr Angel applied and got. It was in the BMJ's homepage. They usually publish notice on online in their homepage. That is why I prescribed to read them.
Yes you can be. You will be reviewer of your expertise area. If such papers come you will be asked to review. You can be there by applying their call for reviewers. There is no hard and fast rule to call notice. Whenever they feel they lack in manpower in certaine field, they will ask especially at the beginning of the year. You can see the title "Thank you reviewers of 2005". So go on visiting the site. Read the articles.
Keep the simple message in your mind: know what you are going to do and see your colleagues and competitors out there. Build yourself up to them. There is no reason that you will have to recede or even pause and ponder. You will be the forerunner. See Dr Angel.
Best of Luck!
Best Wishes,
mati
