why USMLE!!!! - 20-11-2006, 12:29 AM

friends, we see many of our friend and we ourselves much concerned about the much hyped test USMLE. i think it's a golden word for many. we indulge ourself much talkin usmle, 'passing usmle, going to USA and earn learn of money or genuinely learn the best MEDICINE(this is a rarity i find).

here are few good points and bad points about it----
1. we'll earn lot of money---- good
2. we'll learn best using hitech instruments---goood
3. we'll learn new customs and values-- good
but
1. we'll be outside home---bad
2. we are all obliged to our country, we learn the basic here, we use the national resources and now we'll use our productivity(knowledge i mean) for others---- too bad
3. recently an article quoted saying u've to work like a community service provider,, real hard ---- bad
4. most of the times we don't get subject we choose

here are only few points i've quoted regarding usmle. many frnds i know, they are well set planning their preparation, but have we considered our preferences clearly, do we really want to compromise what we want for money or something,,, that's pretty debating....

so frnds take time and drop in some of your invaluable suggestions, tips regarding usmle, let's widen ourselves in knowing usmle better
