Is it necessary for NMC to conduct Licensing exam making question out before the exam - 17-11-2005, 03:35 AM

Nepal medical council conduct licensing exam for every nepali medical graduates once every 3 months in order to filter the competent and non competent doctors ( in NMC's word). But mainly short structured questions have been found to be in people hands before they appear in the exam. who do u think is guilty? Making question out, should NMC conduct the exam?

I don't still understand how this could be happened form NMC, those short question in the discussion forum was made online night before the exam in xenoMED previous version (NDR Discussion Forum), to let the people know that this question would come..... surprisingly those were the question in the recent NMLE exam.

The motive behind making such question online was to let the people know whats going on at present day.

Its a shame....

Shame! Shame!! - 17-11-2005, 04:47 AM

Its a matter of shame for NMC. When USMLE has closed its center in Nepal on suspection of question leak or other act. NMC questions are still out before exam. The main objective of NMC is not fulfilled. So, serious action should be taken by NMC to reestablish itself as an authorized council of doctors.

sushil has a good point. NMC and health ministry seriously need to reaffirm their credibility.
