Abbott announced that it has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for a new lower-strength tablet formulation of its leading HIV protease inhibitor, Kaletra(R) (lopinavir/ritonavir), which is also marketed as Aluvia(R) (lopinavir/ritonavir) in developing countries.
