The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

A new blood test is being developed which detects two types of proteins only present in people with Alzheimer's disease, say scientists from the Institute of Psychiatry at King's College London, UK.
