The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

Scottish Medicines Consortium Approves First-In-class Integrase Inhibitor,'Isentress' - 13-05-2008, 01:10 AM

The Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) announced that 'Isentress'® (raltegravir) has been accepted for restricted use within NHS Scotland in combination with other antiretroviral medicinal products agents for the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV-1) infection in treatment-experienced adult patients with evidence of HIV-1 replication despite ongoing antiretroviral therapy.
