The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

UNISON is warning that sub-standard poultry meat inspection and appalling conditions experienced by battery hens could lead to contaminated chickens entering the food chain.The drive to cut costs and deliver the Â£2.50 chicken to consumers is having a dangerous impact on standards of meat inspection in poultry slaughterhouses.
