Well, sorry I am too late to reply here. Probin has certainly started rounds. I know very limited things on medical education in the states. For which I guess Azu is expert. If money factor is an obstacle, europe would be cheaper than states as you can save more than 600 euro in flight ticket .Sofar as Germany is concerned, there are no tuition fee. Chances are high to get elective, but not internship. The latter requires equivalent test and is a hard process. Of course you have to pay travel expenses, living and lodging. Basic german knowledge is helpful but not compulsory. Doctors use to explain everything in english. But you can hardly communicate with all patients without german language. However most of them understand and can deal with english.
