Hi, I'm a student who wants to do MBBS in Bangladesh at either Dhaka Uni or Dhaka Medical College. I am Indian, but have completed education in America. I would like information regarding when, where, and what I must do in order to get admission at either one of these schools. thanks much!

Eligibility for Studying MBBS and BDS in Bangladesh

Eligibility of Foreign Candidates is as follows

(Session 2007-08)
All Non-Bangladeshi Students who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology examinations and scored total GPA 8.0 but not less than GPA 3.5 in any Examinations, will be eligible for admission. Students also have to have minimum GPA 1.0 in Biology in Class 12 (10+2).

Important : - Student's Mark Sheets of Class 10 and Class 12 (10+2) which are attested by the concerned ministry of their country should be sent for equivalency to the Director, Medical Education under the Ministry of Health . A fee of US $ 100.00 (Approximately will be charged for Mark Sheet Equivalency certificate. This service will be provided by ASIAN EDUCATION CONSULTANCY Pvt. Ltd.. Only those students can apply to the college who will get the “Eligible Certificate” according to the Eligibility rules stated above.

i noticed that mymensingh medical college is not on this list. does this all also apply to it? what is 'SC' and 'HSCC'? help much appreciated.

ne1 who want admission in med school listed above should b cautious b4. collect info about those properly 4m ne BD medical student. all of those r private med school & max r bogus. only a few r good in quality.
there r reserved sits for international students in govt med school. pls try 4 them.
otherwise.. bangladesh med colege, Ibrahim Medical College,Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College r quite good among privates.

Yes you can apply in Mymensingh medical college. but Dhaka National Medical College is best college than mymenshing college.
SC means. School certificate. (Class 10)
HSCC mean Higher secondary certificate (class 12) or intermediate .
