hey guys!!!!!!!!!!!!
i`m planning 2 study MBBS in BAngladesh at my own expenses....so could u guys pleaz help me about following things?
-fees
-mode of accomodation
-time of beginning of semester
-links 2 different medical colleges in bangladesh(dhaka preferrable)

MBBS in Bangladesh - 31-01-2006, 09:17 PM

Since you are interested to know about MBBS in Bangladesh and particularly in Dhaka, here are some of the informatin provided by Dr. Anil who did his graduation from USTC Bangladesh and currently working in Binayak Nursing Home Gongobu.

Althoug, there are many medical colleges but you will have some outline from the followings:

Z.H. Sikder Medical College, Bhanmondi, Dhaka (For Girls only)
Fees: ~ US $ 10,000 at begining and monthly fees.
Session start: Janauary every year

Bangladesh Medical College Dhaka main city, most expensive
Fees:
US$ 20000 donation at the begining, then US $ 250 /month fees
Sessin start: March every year.

Maulani Bhasani Medical College, Uttara,
Fees: US$ 9000 donation at the begining, US $ 175 /month fees for first and second year, US $ 225-250 for third, fourth and final year.
Session start: March every year



Ohter relevant information to all these medical colleges are:
Criteria: Min. is +2 with Sc. in 50%
Quota: no Fix number some time 120 some time 80 it depends, it is believed that they can admit any no. as far they get the students.
Accomodation: HOstel facility available in each colleges
Fees: Bangladesh taka = 1500-2000/month (two student in one room), everything has to be purchase like bed, table, books or daily life need.
Food: B. Taka = 1200-1500/month
Internship: Once you become graduate you will be paid B. Taka 5000/month.
We haven't got any website which would help you provide the information regarding MBBS in Bangladesh. Most of the people depend upon the education consultancies. Best would be to find the doctor who has done his/her graduation from Bangladesh. Dr. Anil is more than happy incase you need more information.

By the way I forgot to tell you, althogh its already feb, if you apply to those medical colleges where the session start at Jan can also give you admission now.

Hi can anyone please tell me if there are any foreign students from North America studying in Bangladeshi medical colleges or not. If so, how are the foreign students, especially from North America are treated in Bangladesh? thanks

TAKA is the name for Bangladesh currency.


hummm best medical college... It very difficult to say as how do you say it is best all are well established like BMC, DMC, USTC etc
