Joining Medical Colleges for Foreign Students in Nepal
There is no hard and fast rule for the foreign students who want to join medical colleges in Nepal although we have collected some information but we strongly advise you to contact respective medical colleges personally or through their web sites, e-mail etc.
The foreign citizens are having good privilege to study medical science in Nepal. Sometimes it seems that the private medical college is just to seek the international market. Most of the private colleges recruit more than >40% students from the foreign nationals. Mostly indian students fill the quota however there are colleges where students for USA, Japan, Fiji, South Africa and many more are studying. However, nowadays there is increasing trend of taking the interested Nepali candidates. Nepalese students also prefer to study in Nepal as far as they get the admission. Private colleges that admit the foreign nationals can be broadly classified as:
- Kathmandu University Affiliated Medical Colleges
