Sri Satya Sai Free Health Camp - 06-05-2007, 12:15 AM

5th May 2007
It was about 9.00 am when we reached Godavari , Bishanku for a health camp organised by Sri Sathya Sai centre , Kalikasthan , Kathmandu. There were many eyes waiting for us with umpteen hopes.

There were all together 20 of us from KMC.
Dr. Sashi Pande
Dr. Chhachindra Rana Magar
one medical officer
two interns
one of our seniors
and
we 14 freinds from 6th semester.

This was a second experience for me in a Health Camp. I found it interesting in many ways .
When we all chanted " Gyatri Mantra", a prayer for Sai Baba , I found it soothing to my mind and body. I felt as if some divine power circulated through my body .
I still wonder what was that , why was that. Moreover food was delicious...............specially KOIRALA KO ACHAR , one of my favourites and
I even got an opportunity to get introduced with doctors from Blue Cross Nursing Home .

Finally Health Camp was a success and the effort of we KMCains was a kingpin for the success of the camp.

it seems you all had a very good time there..
and these health camps do provide us a very good oppurtunity to get exposed to community.. thats a very good aspect and that will definitely help you some way or the other... besides, the people also get easy and free services... so, its a win win project for all... we should promote these sort of activities and i am happy to see you all so interested!
