"Smoking, Alcohol and Drugs(Substances) abuses increase by G.P (Geometrical Progression) in Medical student life!"
I do'nt know much of the above sentence is applicable in the context to Nepal and other SAARC countries but its an evedinence based study done through Cohort Study by the University of Texas.

Question human right - 04-05-2006, 08:13 AM

i say why not drink, smoke or get addicted to drugs, when one knows d consequences!!!! esp by a doctor him/herself.if anyone who has been trusted by d pple to save their lives during illness wants to destroy oneself, then why do others bother????
stress due to studies??? common if a doctor cannot learn to handle one's own stress then how will he console a patient during acute illness??
but thats very personal view.no offence to anyone.
