Frens, now in Nepalgunj there is one rumour. It is said - one person will come at your doorstep and ask for onion and potato. If u give small potato, younger person in the family will die and same will happen if u give large one.if u don't give anything, one of the family members will die. he will come and make a hand print in ur home.It is said to avoid him from coming to ur doorstep u have to make a hand print and sign of "OM" in ur house. In Nepalgunj, now every house have this kind of hand print.
This kind of rumours spread everytime at most of the places. Frens, there r numbers of films and stories on ghosts.some even said they have seen the ghosts. Have u ever seen one?Do u believe in ghosts?Have u idea and thinking have been changed after u join medical college and doing dissections? | | The Following User Says Thank You to Dev For This Useful Post: | | | Senior Member | | Posts: 141 Thanks: 0

hi,
I dont know about this thing in Nepalgunj. But several years back when i was in Plus two there was this hungama about Lord Ganesh drinking milk.I got a phone call from my cousin about it and we both went to the Naxal Ganesh mandir to try it.My cousin was so sure that he was among the first to get the info because he got a call directly from india so he presumed that noone else in Nepal knows about it yet.To our amazement there were many people already there and everyone had some amount of milk in their hand.We stayed in line for sometime,we asked everyone coming out of the temple "IS IT TRUE",of course ! was the stock answer.
When our turn came,I was amazed to note that,IT WAS ACTUALLY HAPPENING.Though i am a religious person,i had not believed that the rumour is true,i had just gone to check whether it was true or not.I dont know the religious implications of it but i saw it with my own eyes,i fed lord Ganesh with my own hands and he drank the milk.
Next day in our school(plus two) there was a big discussion about the issue. Our physics teacher(also a noted scientist) was adamant on describing the phenomenon as a capillary effect. But i felt for the capillary effect to work there must be an outlet or else the capillaries are soon going to be full and there were hundreds of people feeding Lord Ganesh there. The same night even BBC showed the footage of it in India and showed discussions with many indian scientists who said they could not describe the phonomenon scientifically.
This Nepalgunj thing seems to be a hoax simply because there is an unnecessary fear attached to it.Its difficult to say who would do such a thing with what motive but from the looks of it,it surely seems to be hoax to me. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Love Nepal For This Useful Post: | | | Senior Member | | Posts: 547 Thanks: 13

Our guard would tell us that they used to see them running in the corridoors and even the canteen members said they saw the ghost and many of them left the canteen job.
I feel afraid but i havent seen the one so cant believe. Sarensa

Yah,
Ghost rumors in Duwakot! They were thrilling. Sarensa, U missed the baby crying in Dissection hall at 1 pm. The guard told us. Also the mysterious shadow in the biochemistry corridor. Thrilling na? But I never saw one in my two years stay at Duwakot. Its just what the guards told. But they could be serous about this coz they were the ones who had to stay awake the whole night and that too beside the dissection hall. | | The Following User Says Thank You to RAAZ For This Useful Post: | | | Senior Member | | Posts: 223 Thanks: 0

it was in our community diagnosis field that we suffered (i'd rather say enjoyed) our first night in the then abandoned house which we had hired with the feeling of ghosts among us. when we entered the house in the evning, there were three pots kept in serial of their sizes i.e. a big dekchi, a plate and a bowl. there was nothing else in the room except some rags in the corner. one of our friends suddenly came up with the idea that ghosts are served food in this fashion. we looked at each pots, they were empty except for dark tinges on the floor. many of us found nothing against that bizzare idea and one or two were so impringnated with this stuff that they rejected going to that room.
funny and simple though, the truth that was discovered next day from the land lady was that they were kept to collect the leaking water during raining.

HEY BUM
katti saro daraune ho timi, i hope u'd rather not.
rather u see pahile ma sano huda,my senior use to utter some stories regarding bokshi, masan and all the same stuff, then i use to be terrrified with the fact. but as i grew up, so many such people i kept on encountering, but yet i 've neither seen them nor heard them, even when i'm alone in home. u see there may be ghost for some people, i've personnally not seen them and moreover we've already seen cadavers(moreko manche), nothing happened this 3 years even after anatomy dissection, so why worry thinkin about it, i personnally don't find it relevant.,
and moreover principle of medicine even lies here, you see what is in your mind?
