It feels so nice to hear that Sanjiwni is coming back.
As some of the members have already pointed the comments, i would just like to add some of other comments.
1. Divide your work, and every one should be very responsible for there work. Make team leader and assing there job and the head should keep track of the things.
2.Choose members who are competent and responsible to complete there work.
3. Organise meeting amoung yourself and update eachother about the stuffs.
4. As mentioned by other members, do not do parsiality among any batch, but outgoing bacth and the organising batch do get priority.
All the best guys

Its really great to hear about that Sanjeevani is going to be revived. I and my few friends tried a lot to continue the Sanjeevani but we couldnot do so but I am feeling great that our juniors are going to do this.
Just recently I worked as an editor in the magazine & I got experience of both the sweet & the bitter things. Different members have given a lot of suggestions, so just go through all those suggestion ......
To work together with so many people with different ideas & plans on one topic is definitely not an easy task. We really had a lot of problem, there was misunderstanding, superiority, inferiority, conflict between two ideas & person, personal problems with each other & lot more....
So for the success of the magazine don't let any of these problems to build up. Work together with each other in harmony.
If any help needed please tell me about it. Best of luck for the success of the magazine. | | Member | | Posts: 71 Thanks: 0

Its so nice to hear that SANJIWANI IS REVIVED
Congratulations guys !!!!!!!!!
Ya i was reading this thread and wanted to put some suggestions.
1. First of all divide your work, one person cannot do everything, i mean advertisment group, article group, finance group, sports group and among you guys one should be the head and he should see that all the groups are doing there job.
2. Among the group also there should be a leader and then divide you jobs.
3. Conduct meetings among yourselves and update eachother about the progress.
4. Try to include all the batches but as said in above thread outgoing batch should have a speical place and definately the batch bringing out Sanjiwani.
5. Try to estimate your budget and work accordingly as we had some problem in adjusting the budget, i dont mean to say to compromise the quality.
6. Have a friendly working environment among youselves.
All the best guys and i hope SANJIWANI WILL BE A GRAND SUCCESS . | | Member | | Posts: 70 Thanks: 3

This is an interesting thread. So i'm trying to post few ideas again for you guys as they come popping up in my mind . I was one of the editor during publication of second issue of Sanjiwani.
1. Again as said above "team spirit with a good leadership" can only give life to Sanjiwani.
2. The first and the last few pages should be reserved for the freshers and the outgoing batches respectively. None are supposed to compromise in this. This is the privilage freshers and outgoing batches get!!
3. Have a section for the crossword/puzzles/riddles/cartoons etc. Try to make them as original as possible.
4. The joke sections should be really great. Try to publish only original and high quality jokes. Try to stay away from plagiarism!
5. Magazines are the kind of books which are judged by looking at its cover (I may be wrong!). Of course the contents should be readable too. But what i think personally is that the cover page should at least look attractive, smart and intelligent enough protraying medical students publication.
6. Create a post called "creative editors" if you haven't. This will give more life to Sanjiwani. Have in guys work for this post who you believe comes up with good creative ideas. And sometimes weird ideas work well too for the magazines so get in those guys too who come up with weird ideas.(this way nobody is left out and hence everyone is working for the publication in unison!!)
7. Do not include too many pictures of your trip to Goa. It makes everyone doubly jealous!! Instead pics from graduation day makes it look much better.
8. An almuni section would look good enough too. I know its going to be very tough managing this but still you guys could give a thought.
Good luck guys. I will keep you all posted if any new idea pops up in my mind again!! | | Member | | Posts: 93 Thanks: 7

Its really encouraging to see all these suggestions and words of advice from you all and i thank each one of you very much..but what we badly need right now is helping hands..the members announced by Probin with others should come forward and help coz its not just the magazine of few of us...everyone should contribute something...so i urge to all my batch members and others to help us in reviving "SANJIWANI"
