As we all know, flood have wiped out the terai region and has brought our brothers and sisters to roads!!! So, in such hard times, its we who have to extend helping hands and thats what have been going on through out the country.
In our college as well, under the guidance of Dr sunil sharma, we the students of KMC collected funds and clothes from all the KMC members and drugs from the pharmaceuticals. We handed over all our collections to the NMA.
All in all, we managed to collect around 70 thousand rupees, and a lot of clothes and drugs. we hope that will help to provide atleast some relief to the victims and we also very truthfully hope that our help will reach those who we really intend to help.
And i must thank all the KMC staffs, doctors, teachers and students for their help and suppport.
And a special appreciation goes to all the students who were actively involved in the activity. That was a great job!!! Dr. Suvash Shrestha, Intern

yeah indeed suvash,as u've said it's hard time this country's is passing through.......
such is a security situation of nepal that no citizen feels safe doing his daily works, even at home itself.... to top the situation, the condition in terai is gruesome with the innumerable baffling and agitating groups.......it's like an ordeal for people in terai.. some of my friends who hail from terai didn't went home just because their parents don't want them to be there in vacation.....u r not sure what's gonna happen next as the condition is so fragile........
adding salt to the scowling wound, the nature seem to pour in her wrath to these already afflicted people..............whole of terai seems to be deluged.... it pains ain't it....
84 people were dead, 2lac and 50 thousand people displaced..... 32 district affected till this wednesday and it's growing in numbers.....
we took a step to help them,,,,pradeep pandey from 7th batch, me myself and other friends from 7th batch took a responsiblity of whole fund , clothes and drugs collection.
by this post i'd like to thank dr. sunil sharma, head of the department of surgery for invoking us to take an initiative.....
finally we collected 73,868 rupees, 10 cartoon clothes and 2 boxes of drugs.... the collected fund and material was formally handed over to general secretary of nepal medical association-- DR. KEDARNARSINGH K.C.on thursday, 17th shrawan 2064.
i'd like to congratulate all the friends who took up the issue as thier personal suffering and did their level best in one or the other way and finally made the whole initiative a success...
in the mean time i urge all the xenomed users ,who have not yet donated for help or who's thinking of helping the deluge victims, please reach up to any reliable institution who are still collecting money and clothes for them..... after all being human means helping human ....................... 7th batch, kmc " never give up trying "
