Farewell to the 6th batch - 24-07-2007, 01:58 AM

It feels as if it was just yesterday that our seniors (6th batch of KMCTH) welcomed us to the college, and now its time to bid farewell to them. Its so hard for us to believe five years have passed. hey man! i am talking of five years!

Tomorrow, on 25th of July, the 7th batch of KMC is organising a farewell program, wishing all of them very very best wishes for their next venture in their life...

though literally its over for them at KMC but i dont think its so easy to forget and just step ahead... i believe that days at KMC - some good, some bad- are to remain for ever in our minds, no matter where ever we go and what ever we do later in our lives.... and i am sure these memories of kmc will always hold us together very tightly and keep us close, no matter how far we get.

so, we wish you all - all the best for your good results and may we get to hear your names among the best doctors of the world...

Long live KMC
Long live KMCians!!!

oh i nearly forgot to mention the venue!! Its at shankar hotel, lazimpat, 5 pm sharp!! OK see u all there! bye bye!

Just today, I met few of my seniors from 6th batch, they all were so happy that the final year is over. Oh God !! Final year.... But they were also sad becoz even the student life is also over and now the professional life begins....

I m sure 2moro's party is going to be rocking as the rockers 7th batch have organized it.

I really want to thanx all my 6th batch seniors for helping us a lot in our studies, guiding us & lastly for being so nice to us.

i am not in nepal for sometime (have come to UK) so i won't be there to wish them farewell, but i will come to nepal to see them as working intren doctors there! and i am quite sure KMC students are doing better with each year!

i wish all my seniors best wishes for their bright future.

hey doctorX, so u r in UK now, having great time, huh? OK enjoy!!
and definitely, KMC and its students are getting better and better, and they have crossed a great hurdle in their life but this is not just the end, there are many more obstacles yet to come!

and the farewell was a very good one. The presence of everyones favorite- dr pravin sir, dr moon mam, and ever charismatic dr manindra rangan sir, our respected principal sir made the event even more memorable one.

the jadugar song from baral song brought every one on their feets, while pravin sirs "I like pin drop silence in class but a wild noise in such events" brought a thunderous applause and a never ending shrilling noise!!!!! definitely they were the highlights of the show!!!

and as a new thing, different awards were announced, dr munna bhai, dr circuit, dr einstein, dr khamosh.... to name some!!! while every one was shouting on the top of their voices for their favorite candidate, a very perfect and wild environment was brewing up for a wild and rocking dance party later...... and yes, the drinks set up a limit for wildness.... and then started the thing... which... every one was eagerly waiting for

.. as soon as the rocking numbers started, it seemed ground was to break any time....... the party animals were in no mood to stop.... however, it didn't go that long though no one seemed satisfied with it...

and the dinner was great! thanks to DJPL.

so, it was a perfect night.....

Ramri, DJPL is one of the uprising pharmaceuticals of Nepal (Deurali-Janta Pharmaceuticals Co.Pvt Ltd. It has been sponsoring most of the medical colleges in their Welcome and Farewell programmes and as usual we too had DJPL to sponsor our programme.
And as you said about the wild parties, its like human nature. They get drunk and fight or enjoy, Depends!!!!!!!! Well, though we had a wild crowd too but I am sure each one of our friends there enjoyed a lot.

Re: Farewell to the 6th batch - 03-08-2007, 04:27 AM

drinks have become a integral part of social gatherings and it has become almost impossible to imagine such event with out drinks!!! and even if such drink less events are organised either they will have very low turnout or they will be very boring!!!
and drinks!!! its a very amazing thing man has created... two things can happen with drinks..... either you drink a drink or it will drink you!!! so, if you can control yourself, then you can have a very good night... of if you couldnot, ofcourse there is no doubt you are gonna have a very bad night - which you ofcourse wont be able to appreciate-- and also a few bad days both physiologically and socially!!!
but anyway, its really fun to experience the euphoric world we reach with drinks!!

Dear Amit dai, unfortunately the trend is soon about to change. As always DJPL had been organizing the Welcome and Farewell party of KMC but this year the juniors got the Welcome programme sponsor from other companies and I am sure DJPL is really shocked. The programme was not at Shankar but at WTC. I am sure that the farewell is also going to face the same changes because DJPL now are planning to cut off drinks from the farewell programme and upcoming farewell organizers are really not ready to accept that.
