HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

Last day-7th Semester - 26-10-2006, 05:33 PM

Today, 27th October, we are having the last class of our 7th Semester. From tomorrow we are getting a preparatory leave for the pre-boards. This means we nomore are ganna have the ENT, Forensic, Commed & Opthal class. Just the exams left. It kinda feels different. What I feel is, what did I learn about all these 4 subjects in this one year? I say-NOT MUCH. And with this NOT MUCH tomorrow I will be a doctor.Passing the exam-its all mugging up. I am talking about knowledge. I am not sure if this much knowledge is enough for a doctor.I don't know if its the case just with me or all my friends out there!!!!! Well, whatever, I am excited that only 2 semesters more are left for my MBBS course to complete.
