New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

We all know the recent news of flood in nepal and many people are directly and indirectly r affected by this .To help these affected person we the student of kathmandu medical college (7th batch) r collecting the fund from the student ,teachers and staff of this college.BY the effort of our friend we have collected more than we have expected..Every teachers have encourage us with there suggestion and fund.We especially than our chairman with his individual fund of RS 1001 ,pro.dr Junu Thapa ,Pro.Dr.O.K Malla,Amrita Pradhan mam with fund of rs.500 and all the teacher with great fund.. We especially thank pathology department with fund more than 1000.
We request all to help people from there side...the member who r involve in this r BISHWO KHADKA ,PRADIP ,ANUP SHRESTHA,UJJWAL BASNET,SUBASH PANT,MOHAN SAUD,ANUJ KAYASTHA.
