Recently Kathmandu medical college, sinamangal teaching building has got some renovations and reconstructions.... the library which was little congested and not so spacious has been enlarged.. perhaps now the more spacious library can hold the huge number of students...... and the administration section has also been moved to a near by building.......
No doubt.... KMC is spreading its wings.... Dr. Suvash Shrestha, Intern

ya ,,,
i think spreading the wings is identification of kmc coz in spite of so and so ups and downs in its history KMC has learned a lot how to spread its wings so that nobody can cut it छेऊमा पाए घचेट्ने कुनोमा पाए अँचेट्ने कहिल्यै नगर्नू | | The Following User Says Thank You to SPRimal For This Useful Post: | | | Senior Member | | Posts: 1,380 Thanks: 106

renovations still going on...
library still makes noises.... of the hammers and nails......and the saws....
however we have started using the library especially the computer lab...... thats one corner of my college i like the most.........
i think it will still take atleast one more week before our library comes into normal and regular functioning.... Dr. Suvash Shrestha, Intern

ya,
i quite like the library and other changes...
one thing abt the change is that the comuters are still the same old ones... i think using newer computers could serve better, or we can implement opensrc softwares like Linux, which can run in older systems while stilll running with gr8 performance...
\
i am searching abt this possibility...
recently, i had a meeting at MPP (Madan Puraskar pustakalaya) the offlice which developed NepaLinux... and nepali unicode abt it too... I will let ya guys more abt it as soon as it comes...

Yeh changes are good..........new buildings......new corners....new library set up............more computers .....but still lack books, i think.....new edition books and the books most used to be added.
Change is law of nature and the changes in KMC from its establishment till today is worth praising........any way there is always something to be improved .
Lets do something for prosperous and better KMC, its in hand of KMCians , isnt it? better heart 4 better nepal | | Senior Member | | Posts: 930 Thanks: 37

KMC is definitely heading up.... the dial up network has been upgraded to cable network..... the slow nearly dead computers are now atleast working...
and about the books... thats the real problem now... now that Bsc nurses have also been added..... we are really suffering from the scarcity of books....
it would really be helpful if we get some more books.... Dr. Suvash Shrestha, Intern

it seems renovations will never end here at KMC... it was the library some time back and now its the paediatrics ward.. the walls have been brought down and the newer ones are being built.... more rooms are being constructed where no one had ever imagined they could have one...
i just feel sorry for those innocent children... how have they managed to stay there with those continuous bangs.... i stay there for only three hours and i get sick... how are those sick children gonna survive the disaster.. god help them.. Dr. Suvash Shrestha, Intern
