KMC supports the protest - 18-04-2006, 07:51 PM

Kathmandu Medical College too has begun supporting the countrywide protest programme. The doctors are working with black arm bands. We look froward for more support from the college admininstration to the programme.

Its good to know that our administration is supportive too. The countrywide protest needs as much support as possible.

&th Batch will be there. - 04-05-2006, 08:45 AM

My batch mates will surely be there. But against whom are we protesting? We are not sure they are the maoists. They may be a group of local gundas who these days are famous for looting in names of maoists. If that is so, it will be just to raise the eyes of maoists upon our college. I think, they should be sure first.

KMC Rally started at 9.40 AM and the route was from Sinamangal - Old Baneshwor - Maitidevi - Dilli Bazar - Putlai Sadak - Singh Darbar South Gate.

Medical Students, Doctors, Faculty Members and KMC staffs were supporting the rally.

Home Ministry has assured to find out the culprit and bring them to the Justice.

Dear All,

First of all I Pray to God for the speedy recovery of The Great Professor Hemang Dixit and I Pray to God that such a thing will never ever happen again.
The protest rally held today was a great success. Such kind of a protest never happened in the history of KMC, and I hope and pray that such kind of an event will never happen again.

The rally started from Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital at 9 AM. Students right from the First year to Final year, Interns, Staff and Faculty members all were present.

Dr. Angel Magar had given me the responsibility to co-ordinate the 9th Batch.

As mentioned in my previous post, I repeatedly contacted all the students of 9th Batch by all possible means I had. I greatly appreciate the co-operation shown by ALL the students of the 9th Batch.

I really would like to thank the following students of 9th Batch, who appeared exactly at 9 AM very sincerely.

Mr. Anil Maharjan
Mr. Bikendra Raj Shrestha
Mr. Rishab Shrestha
Mr. Anjan Khadka
Mr. Ajay Kumar Yadav
Mr. Vivek Kumar Shah
Mr. Sunit Dahal
Mr. Manan Karki
Mr. Gyanendra KC
Mr. Mahesh Raj Ghimire
Mr. Rijendra Yogal
Mr. Shashank Parajuli
Mr. Sushil Sharma
Mr. Sharad Khakurel
Mr. Som Raj Lamechane

(I regret if i happened to have missed the name of anyone who participated in the rally that started at Sinamangal at 9 AM)

These students including many other seniors marched all the way from Sinamangal - Puranobaneshwaor - Maitidevi - Baneshwar height – Dillibazar – Putalisadak – Ramshahpath – Singha Durbar (Main gate) – Singha Durbar (South Gate) chanting slogans towards the spirit of our great college.

I really appreciate the contributions made by respected seniors during the rally. (especially the heart touching poem) I will never ever forget that poem in my life. I will treasure its words like pearls and request that great senior colleage to publish the poem. through xenoMED.com

I highly appreciate the spirit and contributions made by the students of 9th Batch, regardless of whether they were in the rally or on their way from Duwakot to attend the protest.

Everyone participated spontaneously and expressed the feeling that whosoever may have done such a thing to Professor Dixit must be punished and such a thing must never happen again.

I am proud to be a part of Kathmandu Medical College

I would like to thank all the Professors, Faculty, Staff and Students for co-ordinating and co-operating and I really appreciate the unity among us.

At last I would like to thank my parents for giving birth to me, by virtue of which I could be of some use for a great cause
May Lord Help Us All
