New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

6th semester exams from 28th May 2006 - 03-05-2006, 10:50 AM
6th semester exams has been postponted to 28th May. The routine is as

11th May to 27th May- Preparatory leave

Exam from 10am to 1 pm
28th May- Medicine
29th May- Surgery
30th May- Gynae-obs
31st May- Paed

Exam from 10 am onwards
Practicals from 1st June to 5th June

6th June to 10th June- Preparatory leave

Exam from 10am to 12am.
11th June- Com. Med.
12th June- ENT
13th June- Eye
14th June- For. Med.

15th June to 01st July- Holiday

02nd July new semester starts.

The majors have been shifted ahead and that's really ..........
I hate major practicals. All that galis and all. Specially Gynae!!!!!
