MMSN Journal Club was excellent! - 19-11-2005, 03:16 AM

Dear Friends,
That was excellent indeed!
Thanx to Dr Soni and Dr Devish for their wonderful presentation on 18th Nov (3rd Mangsir) Friday.

There Dr Soni with amazing photographs from the Everest Base Camp and Dr Devish with the in-depth HACE article to present.

Dr Soni had participated in the High Altitude training along with the team of Italian Doctors and Few Nepali with the cooperation of RONAST. Her experience was marvelous indeed. Prof made us few mountains known to us ! In fact I see every mountains like others and don’t recognize their names.

Dr Devish had wonderful article as circulated before to present there. Thanx to Prof Buddha for initiating discussion and clarifying the points. That was something like CME for us people.

We had other discussions regarding our future plan e.g. workshop, newsletter, organization renewal, Masters in Mountain Medicine.

Finally, thanx to the members who turn up there enthusiastically in time. Hope you will keep up your spirits with MMSN.

I was there. The programme was really interesting and informative. I got the oppertunity to learn a lot from the experiences.

Its really an adventure to go up in the mountains and maybe, thats why people from all over the world are after the beauty of our mountains.

So its time for all of us to know our mountains.

Therefore I felt it necessary for everyone of us to know about mountain medicine because we live in a country with mountains everywhere.

Moreover the journal club was really great.
