HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

I have now waited for nearly 3 weeks to receive reply. Despite the authors request on this forum, to post the message on the PLoS discussion forum, we haven't had any reply.

I have even written to PLoS editorial team regarding the conflict of interest with no reply yet.

Oxford Tropical Health Research Institute hasn't also replied.

Sometimes, silence itself speaks a volume about the study than the reply itself.

I had visited Department of drug association where I came to know that the result of the study was on extensive observation and the department has yet to give a positive response on its use.

I hope the government body won't make mistake
