HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

Pharmacist in Nepal? - 06-09-2007, 11:43 PM

I've already completed my pharmacist formation and i also have 3years experience in pharmacology and i'd like to work in Nepal... I've tried to look for the emails of pharmacies so that i could send my c.v from where i am right now but i didn't find anything.. the only pharmacy directory that i found at http://www.drugdelivery.ca/xx-NP-05-...-Pharmacy.aspx is empty... please help me.. i need to escape my home.. i have to go somewhere where i no nobody and nobody knows me..

Dear medine, I don't think there are any online job applying sections for pharmacy in Nepal. You will have to approach them individually. It would be more easier for us to inform you if we find any if you ahd mentioned what kind of job you are looking for. I mean, like Companies or hospitals etc.

If you want to wokr in Nepal you have to come here and if you have exceptionally good scores in your academics or else you have to use contatcs to get in the pharmaceuticals. There are more than 20 pharmaceuticals in Nepal. You will get in in one of those but physically you have to be here.
