New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

Promotional, Educational & Motivational Prgram on Mountain Medicine ! - 01-07-2007, 03:00 PM

Dear Friends ! ! !

We are all set to launch with some sort of PROMOTIONAL, EDUCATIONAL and MOTIVATIONAL programme on Mountain Medicine, Mountain Medicine Society of Nepal (MMSN) and Academics!

According to which:

About PROMOTIONAL

On coming Thursday 5th of July, 2007 : We are going to show a BBC
Documentary
entitled "EVEREST ER" made on 2006.

Coordinators: Ashis Lohani, Mani Raj Neupane and Ghan Bdr Thapa
The documentary is about Everest Base Camp Clinic by Dr Luaan Freer and
Eric Johnson as well as about Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA)'s Aid post at Pheriche (filmed in 2006 AD).

About Mountain Medicine (as well as MMSN), ACADEMICS and MOTIVATION

We are going to have one Lecture and one presentation on coming FRIDAY.
