Xtreme Everest Opportunity - 07-08-2006, 02:19 AM

This is to let everyone know about a British research project called Xtreme-Everest which plans to summit and do research on Mount Everest in the spring of 2007. The good news is, they want some Nepali docs to be involved in this research (on a paid basis ).

Anyone interested, you can contact Soni at MMSN, and you can also check out their website:
http://www.xtreme-everest.co.uk

This is a great opportunity, and I hope some smart people is going to make good use of it.

Re: Xtreme Everest Opportunity - 22-05-2007, 09:18 AM

Hi all,
As I have been involved in this "Xtreme Everest Research" from Mountain Medicine Society of Nepal, I'm going up to the Everest Base Camp tomorrow! It's a matter of proud to get involved in such a big research project and that too being the only one Nepali to get involved as a research assistant.

Right now, there is research going on in Everest with a team of doctors climbing up to the summit!!! The researches will be carried out at the summit as well. I will be spending a week in BASE CAMP helping my research team and having out there. I hope to enjoy it a lot.

Therefore I will be out of touch for about three weeks!

I will mail, once I get back!

Best wishes,
mati
