New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

Editor wanted : Why don't you edit the studentBMJ?

The studentBMJ is looking for a medical student to be the new student editor for a year.

This job requires you to:

* Commission, peer review, select, edit, and write articles
* Be involved with all aspects of publishing the journal
* Liaise with internal departments such as marketing, production and advertising
* Coordinate our network of international student advisers

To apply for this job, you need enthusiasm, self-motivation and imagination. Suitable candidates should have clinical experience and an excellent standard of written English. We will be particularly interested in applicants with some previous experience of medical or other journalism.

You will be based at the BMJ offices in central London. We are looking for someone to start in June 2007 to shadow the current student editor. You will report to the senior editor of the studentBMJ. Your annual salary will be £20 741.

Please send your CV and a covering letter , with a written critique of the strengths and weaknesses of the studentBMJ, and examples of already published work, or a copy of a publication you have edited to:

  • I'm a clear, colorless fluid, contain small quantities of glucose and protein.
  • I fill the ventricles of the brain and the central canal of the spinal cord.
  • You can get me through Lumbar Puncture.
  • If I have White blood Cells or bacteria - Meningitis result.
