New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

Why I joined this forum?

You can say emotional ties to Kathmandu Medical College. I was among the first batch of students to graduate from KMC. When I saw Angel starting this forum I couldn't resist. Good job, Angel.

More important reason, I want to give information to the ambitious medical students/young doctors aspiring to become physician scientist. If you want to grow from reading and applying textbook knowledge and start to work on a breakthrough in medical field that will be written in textbooks in due course of time, write to me in this forum or email me and I can provide you some information.
Also I have a short experience of going through PLAB and working in U.K. If anyone needs feedback about it based on my short experience, write to me and I will help as much as I can.

May future always bring better things for all of us.
