Hello friends - 08-06-2008, 04:55 AM

I love Nepal and its people.
I first visited the country in 2004 and cherish my memories.
As a paediatric cardiologist, my vision is to contribute to dvelop the speciality and help children in Nepal, in a simple and personal way. You may know that Nepal has more children under 12 year old than the whole of UK. Here in the UK, there are 13 paediatric cardiac centres and about 100 specialists working in the field. My objective is to train and support people working in paediatric cardiology. When I read about comments on the paediatric meeting (Khusboo), inspiration given by dr. Koirala etc it was rather heart warming. May be mext time when I come, perhaps I may meet some bright minds keen on training and dedicating themselves to develop the field of paediatric cardiology in Nepal.

Warm regrads,

Joseph
