New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

Hello everyone,
I'm new to XenoMed & taking a moment to post my first thread in "Introduce Yourself" as a way to learn how this website works.
My name is Elijah Poulos, logged in as LSUmedicine. I'm just finishing my last clerkship of my 3rd year at LSU Medical School in New Orleans (OB-GYN). I happpened upon this site while searching for more information about how to critically analyze medical journals for Journal Club. I hope this site will prove to be a valuable tool in my learning experience.
My hobbies include fishing (of which I haven't done much lately), cooking (love New Orleans food) and spending time with my family. I have a wonderful wife who is a 1st year medical student, and a dog (German Shepard) who is currently our only "child".
So, that is plenty of info about me. Hope everyone is having a Blessed Day!!
