New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

Latest news about pre-internship in gov.Hospital?? - 14-02-2006, 08:36 PM
Hi all.. does anyone have the any news about the pre-internship in gov.hospitals in nepal?? As far as i know the hospital are giving the acceptance letter to the applicant for pre-intenship. So if u have any new news please be kind to post here..

I heard it was only for those who have already come to Nepal. They had a meeting with the official thats why they are getting, I still don't know whether future per-intern will get that opportunity or not.

Anyway, lets hope all will get that opportunity.

yah ur rite...!!!!
some of my fren also got the conformation letter from the govt. hospital in nepal to do pre-internship.

so now lil bit confuse ...at one side they made rule not to take any pre-interns in govt. hospital 'n in other hand they r giving accaptance letter.donno what they r doing????

hope may some one'll clearify it
