New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

i think preintern system should be taken off.college should have 4 n half course system.

Can We Do Our Pre-internship In Nepal??????????? - 14-01-2006, 03:48 AM
some of the students from Guangxi Medical College,China got confirmation letter from the govt. hospital of Nepal to do their pre-internship.

is that rumour or true???
can any one help us to find out the reality??????????

I'm from chongqing university and i don't know what really going on. i'm also greatly confused why we are not allowed to do intern in nepal?? In our document ,we are allowed to do intern at any part of the world.why are called pre-intern though we are carrying log book of internship provied by our university.
who is responsible for this?? Misinstry of health or Nepal medical counsil??
