New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

hello does anyone know what is the cost for the preinternship in bir hospital?
i have been hearing that the cost is around 4000 nrs. for a week is it true?????

hello,
when we did preintership it was Rs.1000/ week.But for 2003 Batch don't know what rule now.
PLUS for doing Intership at BIR. we have to give Entrance examination from now onwards...may be same rule (entrance examination) for pre-inter too..

but could you ask the cost for us?? because we are far from our country sudying and want to do preintern in bir but we have been hearing different things aboput the cost so to be sure could you please ask ..

1000 NRS per week here in bir hospital.....
1000 NRS per week in kanti hospital
10000 NRS for 6-8 weeks in prasuti.
1000 NRS for 2 weeks in nepal eye hospital

there is no entrance exam for pre-internship in these hospital.....but there is entrance exam for internship in bir hospital....

as i know the cost of internship in Bir hospital is around 2000 per week .
