New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

thanks.... just got the good news yesterday that i got accepted for internship from nepal too... and got my grades here too.. quite a nice day for me.. my internship will proceed in april.. but got a question... about my community service, the requirement here is 1month while there i heard is just 15 days... is it true? if that is the case i myt have to do my community here, or do i have any other alternatives? would be a great help if i got some suggestions...

You can come here and inquire by yourself, after u finish all here, u can return back to there for a month and graduate at the same time, isn't it a good idea ?

hello anil

I would suggest you to do your community there for 1 month and then come here to nepal for rest of your rotations and for rest of the querries it will be clear when you come here and contact the seniors who had graduated from your university!goodluck!you are not only here

yeah that sounds a good suggestion to me, i already have started my community here and will be done soon.. hope to see ya guys in nepal. thanks for all the help.
